The House

Before your arrival and to know what to expect, let me guide you through the house.
On the ground floor there’s the entrance of the house. It’s where you can leave your coat and shoes and get flyers and discount vouchers. You come into an open space where my living room and kitchen are. This is where you and the other guests will share the space for breakfast. Here you will also find a toilet and the entrance to the garden.

Up the spiral staircase to the first floor where you will find the Room Downstairs, the shared bathroom, my own room and my office. Mostly you can find me here or in the garden. When I’m home you can call on me any time. 

One floor more up the spiral case and you will reach the second floor where the Room Upstairs is. This room is very private and has a large balcony/terrace with a lounge area and a table with chairs. My laundry room is also on the top floor. 

It is possible to take both rooms if you are with more persons. 

The Kitchen & Living Room
The living room and kitchen are part of my private areas except when used for breakfast. You’ll notice that it does not look much different from home and this where I live and have dinner and sit with friends, family and guests.

The kitchen is only available for preparing breakfast from 7am to 12pm (except on check out day, that is until 11 am). During that time, you are welcome to use my kitchen and appliances to prepare breakfast and light meals and to sit at the dinner table to eat it. No cooking or eating meals in the room.

My living room is not a common lounge area except during breakfast. If you wish to sit in the living room outside breakfast hours to watch TV or do some work please ask before doing so. 

The Garden
The garden is accessible for all guests. There is a covered sitting area where you can sit and enjoy the outside. This is also the designated smoking area.

Bathroom & Toilet
There is a toilet in the hallway where you come in and the bathroom is on the first floor. 
The bathroom is shared with guests from the other room and me. In the bathroom there are all the necessary amenities for your comfort. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom.
